What is HSE Verification?
HSE verification ensures that your HSeLanD profile accurately reflects your official HSE HR employee record. This is for all HSE staff. Verifying your identity using your personnel number and date of birth helps align your training data, improving the accuracy of compliance reporting.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Register or Log on to hseland.ie.
- Select your work location from the list (aligned with HSE health regions).
- Enter your personnel number and date of birth

- If a match is found, you will be taken to the dashboard. You will see a “Verified” badge when pressing the blocks icon on the top right of the screen.
- If no match is found, you will be prompted to check your details or contact your line manager if you believe they are accurate and you are still experiencing an error.
- Alternatively, you can choose to continue to use HSeLanD without verification by proceeding as “Guest”.
- You can use HSeLanD for up to 8 weeks as a “Guest”.
- With each login, you will be asked to enter your personnel number and date of birth, or to proceed as “Guest”.
- After 8 weeks, your “Guest” access will expire, and your HSeLanD profile will be marked as “Not yet Verified”, and you must select a new location to continue.
