If the verification deadline for your region/service has passed and you were unable to complete the process in time, you are still able to verify your HSeLanD profile by following the guidance below. These steps will help identify the issue and outline when escalation is needed.
1. Confirm Your Work Location Selection
Ensure you are selecting the correct region or service, in line with the HSE’s regional structure. You can always select the back button to try a different work location. Link to support article on location
2. Spelling & Typing Checks
Before taking any further action, please carefully re-enter your details:
- Double-check your Date of Birth and Personnel Number.
- Ensure there are no typos, extra spaces, or incorrect formats.
3. Employment Status
Your employment timeline may impact your ability to verify:
- Have you been employed less than six weeks?
- Have you changed location within the last six weeks? It can take several weeks for updates to appear in SAP and sync to HSeLanD. Check with your line manager to see if your SAP profile has been created.
If yes, your information may not yet be synced from SAP to HSeLanD.
4. Personnel Number Checks
If your personnel number is not being recognised:
- Confirm your personnel number with your Line Manager to ensure it matches what is recorded in SAP.
- If you recently moved role or location and are awaiting a new personnel number, verification will only be possible once SAP has been updated.
5. Authentication Factors
If all the above checks are correct:
- Determine whether your Date of Birth stored in SAP may be incorrect.
If this is the case, your Line Manager should escalate this through their established channels so the SAP record can be corrected.
