Updating your email address on HSeLanD is really simple.
We are currently experiencing an issue with the Edit Profile links. You can still update your profile by selecting the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen and clicking Update Profile from the menu.
When you are on the page titled 'Edit Profile', you will see the email field as highlighted below. To update your email address, you should remove the current entry and enter your new email address.
Then, you must select 'Validate Email'. This will send the code used to validate the new email address.
I don't have access to the email address I registered with
You can still access your account without having to contact a member of the support team. If you click on the link below, you will be brought to our self-service tool.
The first step is to enter your email address in the relevant field and then select 'No' when asked if you have access to the email address. If you are given the error message, 'Your credentials are incorrect, please try again, ' this is because that email address isn't registered. Please try a different email that you may have registered with.
If the email address is registered, once you click submit, you will be asked to enter the security answer for your account. When a match is found, you will be asked to create a new password for your account.
When you have created a new password and pressed submit, you will be directed to the homepage of HSeLanD. You should then sign in with the old email address and new password; you do not need access to the email address to do this. Once you have signed in, you will be asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication. As you are still registered with an old email address, you should choose either Pass Key or Time-Based One-Time Password Via Authenticator App, as you do not need to verify the email address for either of these methods. Once you have set this up and registered your profile, you should follow the steps outlined at the start of this article to update your email address.
Potential issues
This email address is already in use.
You can only use your email address on one HSeLanD account. This also includes administrator accounts.
I can't verify my email address.

I can't access my email outside of work.
If you have set up your HSeLanD account with a work email and need to access HSeLanD outside of work, when setting up MFA you should not choose Email One-Time Password. If you opt for one of the other options, Pass key or Time-Based One-Time Password Via Authenticator App, you do not need access to the email address to authenticate your sign-in.
